453. The Cave Entrance Was Discovered.

What had become of Ye Feng in those five years, no one knew except himself.

In truth, his consciousness had already awakened in the fourth year. He simply could not get out and could only remain within his own mind. By then, the landscape of Ye Feng’s inner world had become unrecognizable, completely transformed into a realm of ice and fire. By the final deadline of the month, Angus had finally discovered the entrance to the cavern. However, the defenses at the opening were far beyond anything he had imagined, a protection system filled with future technology. So Angus immediately understood that Ye Feng was hiding within. For the moment, though, he could not break through the defenses. Still, at least now he had an excuse.

“Where is it?” Chihuo’s attention was indeed drawn in.

“Right where Dragon Roar Heaven and his wife escaped last time. There is an opening beneath it, but the defenses are very strong. With the strength of us Earthlings, we cannot break through them, so I believe that must be where Dragon Roar Heaven and his wife are hiding,” Angus said, doing everything he could to excuse himself.

“Then it must be there! Attack with full force!” Chihuo said loudly. Angus’s words easily guided him into believing that the ones hiding inside were the couple, Dragon Roar Heaven and his wife. Chihuo looked down on Earthlings anyway, a backward race, in his eyes.

“Yes.” Angus let out a breath of relief and began issuing the order to attack.

Naturally, Angus’s movements were transmitted to Bad Bad by Andria.

“Angus is coming. Everyone, get ready,” Bad Bad relayed the information at once.

“Bad Bad, are you sure the defenses at the entrance can hold?” Hua Nongying asked uneasily. She had followed Angus for a long time and still felt some fear toward him in her heart, so she could not help asking.

“Of course. If it were a defense as large as the entire cavern, I might not manage it, but for a tiny entrance, there’s absolutely no problem. I guarantee the Chihuo clan won’t be able to force their way in, not for at least a hundred years,” Bad Bad said with certainty.

No sooner had Bad Bad finished speaking than the battle outside began. More precisely, Angus’s probing attack began, and the result was naturally dismal. Angus could not even break through the most basic defensive layer outside the cavern.

At the sight of such results, everyone froze, including Dragon Roar Heaven. Just moments before, he had been deeply worried, never imagining that the situation would change in this way.

“How did you do that?” Dragon Cloud Phoenix asked in surprise.

“From the last battle, I realized that those Chihuo are indeed very afraid of oxygen, so I increased the oxygen concentration. Just now, I raised the oxygen concentration outside the entrance a hundredfold.
