Chapter 046: Kidnapping Bruce Lee
“Damn you!” Lin Feng was in the prime of youth, hot-blooded and impulsive; how could he tolerate such an insult? Pointing at the fan, he was about to charge over and retaliate.
Qin Ruolin, standing beside him, quickly grabbed his arm. “Don’t act rashly! Whatever you do, don’t use your fists!”
“What, you actually think you can lay a hand on me?” The chubby fan shot Lin Feng a contemptuous glare, then shouted to his companions, “Guys, get him!”
As soon as the words left his mouth, several more fans threw their cups of milk tea at Lin Feng. This time, Lin Feng was prepared and dodged nimbly.
“You’re going too far! Do you want me to call the police right now?” Qin Ruolin shouted angrily.
“The police? Who are you trying to scare?” the chubby fan sneered. “So what if we threw a couple of drinks? That’s a crime?”
“You know exactly what you’re doing!” Qin Ruolin shot the man a venomous glare and tugged Lin Feng. “Let’s get in the car. Don’t waste your time with this rabble.”
She unlocked the car and was about to get in.
“Oh, leaving already? In such a hurry to get a hotel room?” the chubby fan mocked.
“Look how eager they are—maybe they’ll just get it over with in the car!” another fan jeered.
“Lin Feng, you sure you’re up to it? If you can’t handle it, we’ll give you a hand!” someone else chimed in.
The barrage of crude taunts was too much for Lin Feng. He could no longer restrain his fury and pointed at the gang of hooligans, shouting, “If you can’t speak like a human being, then just shut the hell up! You bunch of fatherless mongrels—if you can’t keep your mouths clean, don’t blame me for teaching you a lesson your fathers never did!”
“Oh, you think you’re tough? You wanna throw hands? I’d like to see you try!” The chubby fan picked up two empty water bottles from the ground and hurled them at Lin Feng, leading the charge as he cursed.
As soon as he made a move, the other fans followed suit, pelting Lin Feng and Qin Ruolin with water bottles, cans, lighters—anything they could get their hands on.
This time there were too many projectiles to dodge. Lin Feng took a few hits from bottles and lighters, but they were small enough to do no real harm.
Qin Ruolin wasn’t so lucky. An aluminum can struck her forehead, and blood immediately began streaming from the wound.
Seeing this, Lin Feng finally snapped. “Damn you! You really think I won’t fight back?”
With a burst of speed, Lin Feng rushed up to the chubby ringleader and kicked him squarely. The man hadn’t expected Lin Feng to actually retaliate and was knocked flat on his backside.
“Get him!” someone yelled.
The moment their leader went down, more than a dozen male fans charged at Lin Feng.
Lin Feng, seeing the odds, quickly pulled up his Superstar Kidnapping System. As the saying goes, a wise man knows when to retreat; without some help, he’d be the one getting beaten up.
Welcome back to the Superstar Kidnapping System.

Reading over his stats, Lin Feng grinned. He was now a bonafide tycoon. Originally, he’d considered buying a Luck Aura or similar item, but changed his mind. He decided instead to kidnap a kung fu superstar.
Entering the kung fu superstar selection interface, the first name on the list was Bruce Lee, followed by Jackie Chan, Jet Li, and Donnie Yen.
Without hesitation, Lin Feng chose Bruce Lee. The others were all showmen—fine for movies, but useless in a real fight. Even if Jet Li had been a national martial arts champion, those competitions were all about forms, not actual combat.
The only catch was that kidnapping Bruce Lee would cost two Kidnapping Cards, while the others required only one. But with things at this point, Lin Feng didn’t care.
Congratulations! You have successfully kidnapped kung fu superstar Bruce Lee!
As soon as he heard the system prompt, Lin Feng activated the character.
By that time, the gang of Beicheng hooligan fans had already swarmed him from all sides with fists and feet flying.
“Ada!”
With Bruce Lee’s spirit possessing him, Lin Feng let out a cry, using both fists and feet to meet the onslaught.
Ah!
Ow!
Damn!
That hurts!
Moving among the Beicheng fans like a tiger among sheep, Lin Feng struck out again and again, each blow sending someone to the ground with a scream. In barely two minutes, half the gang was sprawled out, defeated.
The rest stared at Lin Feng as if he were a monster, none daring to come closer.
It was bad enough that he played basketball so well, but to be this good at fighting too—how could anyone compete?
“Ada!” Lin Feng, caught up in the thrill of battle, struck a martial pose and beckoned the chubby ringleader with his finger.
“Weren’t you so eager to fight? Well, come on!” Lin Feng taunted.
Seeing Lin Feng beckon him, the chubby fan instinctively retreated two steps. He’d already taken two punches during the brawl and had only just managed to climb to his feet. Now, even if he were twice as brave, he wouldn’t dare challenge Lin Feng again.
“What’s this? Chickening out already?” Lin Feng took a step forward, and the Beicheng fans immediately stepped back. They were truly terrified of him now.
Half their number had been taken out in moments—who wouldn’t be scared?
“Lin Feng, stop, let’s just go,” Qin Ruolin called out.
Lin Feng turned to look at her. She was pressing a handkerchief to her forehead, but the white cloth was already stained red—her wound was still bleeding.
“Alright, I’ll take you to the hospital,” Lin Feng nodded, shot a cold glare at the Beicheng fans, and walked back to Qin Ruolin, helping her into the car.
He slid into the driver’s seat, ready to take her to the hospital, when suddenly police sirens wailed and two patrol cars pulled up.
“Someone called the police?” Lin Feng frowned. Both he and Qin Ruolin were public figures; it would be a headache if the police got involved.
“It was me,” Qin Ruolin admitted with a pout and an innocent look. “There were so many of them, I thought you’d be in trouble. I didn’t expect you to be such a good fighter…”
“Well, looks like our trip to the hospital will have to wait,” Lin Feng said with a wry shrug.
At that moment, several officers got out of the cars. The leader was a man in his early forties. He surveyed the group of Beicheng fans and called out, “Who called the police?”
“I did…” the chubby ringleader immediately stepped forward.
Lin Feng was speechless at the sight of him. “What a coward…”
