“Strategist, do not panic. So what if Zhenyuanzi has attained the Dao? It is not as though I intend to bring the entire Earthly Immortal Realm under my command!
“As the orthodox heir of the Primordial World, is it not only proper that our Heavenly Court govern the Primordial World? Since Zhenyuanzi has attained Primordial Unity, he should understand this perfectly.”
After hearing Baize’s words, Emperor Jun replied with an impassive expression.
Seeing this, Baize no longer tried to dissuade him.
At that moment, Taiyi suddenly spoke to Emperor Jun.
“Big Brother, judging from the situation, the Earthly Immortal Realm may still be incomplete because it has only just been born. No matter how we search, we may find nothing. Why not set this matter aside for now? The most important thing at present is the opportunity to become a Saint. Now that Zhenyuanzi has attained the Dao, I fear that the longer we delay, the slimmer our chances will become.”
Emperor Jun felt that Taiyi’s words made sense.
“Very well. Have our people keep watch for the time being. Once we have dealt with Hongyun, we can consider the matter again.”
Thus, Emperor Jun, Taiyi, and Baize went to find Fuxi before heading into the Primordial Chaos.
Within the Primordial Chaos lay the Wa Imperial Heaven.
At that moment, Nuwa looked down at Emperor Jun and the others, her face revealing not the slightest emotion.
“Greetings, Saint!”
Emperor Jun and the others bowed to Nuwa and paid their respects.
“I wonder why the Heavenly Emperor has come to my Wa Imperial Heaven today. If you have come to hear my teachings, the time has not yet arrived.”
Nuwa gazed calmly at Emperor Jun as she spoke.
Hearing this, Emperor Jun stepped forward and addressed her.
“Saint, we have come today to ask for your assistance with a certain matter.”
Nuwa immediately shook her head, her expression turning solemn.
“Now that I have attained sainthood, regarding matters concerning the demon race, it is not that I am unwilling to help. Rather, I cannot intervene.”
A powerful aura suddenly erupted from Nuwa, pressing down upon Emperor Jun and the others as though punishing him for overstepping his bounds.
But then Nuwa continued, “However, if an existence at the Primordial Unity level were to move against the demon race or the Heavenly Court, I would naturally intervene to stop them.”
Emperor Jun could only grit his teeth and endure the pressure before speaking.
“Please calm your anger, Saint. I am not asking you to deal with any enemy of the demon race.”
“Oh? In that case, what do you wish me to do?”
Nuwa raised a brow, and her expression softened considerably.
“Saint, I wish to ask you to locate Hongyun.”

A peculiar emotion flickered through Nuwa’s eyes, but Emperor Jun and the others noticed nothing.
Only after a long while did they hear Nuwa speak.
“Oh, if that is all, it will be easy enough. But is Hongyun not on exceedingly close terms with Zhenyuanzi? Are you not afraid?”
Emperor Jun gritted his teeth before replying uneasily.
“As for Zhenyuanzi, I hope that Her Imperial Majesty will help restrain him when the time comes.”
After Emperor Jun finished speaking, there was no reply for a long while. He thought there was no hope, but then Nuwa finally spoke.
“Very well. I agree.”
Nuwa then used her powers to locate Hongyun’s current hiding place and informed Emperor Jun and the others.
“That is all. Since I have fulfilled your request, you may return to the Heavenly Court.”
Just as Fuxi was preparing to leave with Emperor Jun and the others, Nuwa suddenly called out to him.
“Brother, are you truly unwilling to withdraw from the demon race’s Heavenly Court?”
Fuxi merely shook his head, his expression unchanged.
“Forget it. Since you insist, I will not try to persuade you.”
“But Brother, are you really not tempted by the opportunity to become a Saint?”
Fuxi fell silent after hearing Nuwa’s words.
To say that he had no thoughts on the matter would be something even Fuxi himself could not believe.
In the end, however, he said to Nuwa, “Let it go. There is no need to force the matter. I shall leave it to fate. Since the opportunity to become a Saint in the Purple Cloud Palace did not choose me back then, it seems that I have no affinity with it at all.”
Fuxi had a premonition that even if he asked Nuwa to intervene, he probably would not be able to obtain that opportunity to become a Saint.
Of course, he also felt that Emperor Jun and the others would most likely fail, but he kept that thought buried in his heart and told no one.
In the end, Fuxi did not return to the Heavenly Court with Emperor Jun and the others. Instead, he remained for the time being in Wa Imperial Palace.
As he often listened to Nuwa expound the Dao, he gradually came to understand many matters that had once eluded him.
Meanwhile, after Emperor Jun and the others returned to the Heavenly Court, they began making plans to deal with Hongyun.
What they did not know was that while they were traveling to Wa Imperial Heaven, Kunpeng had already learned Hongyun’s hiding place ahead of them.
He was now leading several powerful mid- and late-stage Quasi-Saints to deal with Hongyun.
At that moment, Hongyun, who was being targeted by Kunpeng and the others, suddenly felt a throb in his heart.
“This is bad. It seems I have been discovered after all. Since that is the case, let us see how you intend to take my life and seize the opportunity to become a Saint!”

A fierce battle intent already burned in Hongyun’s eyes.
“They are here!”
The instant Hongyun finished speaking, several figures appeared.
“Hahaha! Hongyun, it seems you knew you could not escape today and have already been waiting for us!”
Seeing that Hongyun had been expecting them, Kunpeng and the others sneered.
“Hongyun, this Ancestor has come today to take the opportunity to become a Saint from you!”
“Oh? Then we shall see whether you have the ability.”
“How arrogant! You should know that if you had not meddled that day, this Ancestor would not need to go through such trouble now. All of this is the karma you brought upon yourself.”
As soon as Kunpeng finished speaking, he swiftly revealed his true form and charged at Hongyun.
In an instant, Kunpeng opened his enormous jaws, unleashing a torrent of seawater mixed with the laws and Dao resonances he had comprehended.
Boundless magical power condensed into a furious assault aimed directly at Hongyun.
Hongyun was not to be outdone. He swiftly brought out the Nine-Nine Soul-Dispersing Gourd.
Countless grains of crimson sand poured forth from within, instantly forming a Soul-Dispersing Grand Formation.
“Everyone, be careful! There is something strange about this formation!”
The moment the formation enveloped them, the many Quasi-Saints felt a sharp pain in their souls.
At once, everyone unleashed their ultimate techniques.
Several Quasi-Saints attacked the formation together. Yet this grand formation had been established with a supreme-grade Primordial Spirit Treasure. How could it be so easily destroyed?
Despite the combined attacks of several Quasi-Saints, the formation remained as firm as a rock.
At the same time, a battle of this magnitude taking place within the Primordial World could not possibly escape the notice of Emperor Jun and the others in the Heavenly Court.
Only after investigating did they discover that the hiding place of Hongyun, which they had found through such painstaking effort, had already been discovered by someone else—and that the other party had already engaged Hongyun in battle.
“Kunpeng!”
Emperor Jun spat out the name through clenched teeth.
“Send my order. All demon saints and demon kings who are available are to come before me at once!”
Emperor Jun immediately issued the command.
