Chapter Forty-Eight: The Results of the Investigation

As expected, upon hearing Chu Han's words, Tang Yuan was furious, but he did not dare to act rashly. After all, the little prince was present; if the prince were injured, the Jing Prince's mansion would not spare Tang Prince's mansion, so he had no choice but to swallow his anger.

Li Fu sat in a chair and recounted his findings in detail. Chu Han nodded gently; he had already suspected as much.

After most had entered, Chu Han walked up to the gates of Lingxu Cave.

"Who are you? Don't you know this is Lingxu Cave? Get lost, don't make trouble."

The gatekeeper waved impatiently, trying to drive him away.

Chu Han said nothing, his lips curling into a faint smile. He extended his hand, punching the man in the chest. The gatekeeper flew backward, crashing into the gate and shattering it.

Chu Han had long since made enemies with Lingxu Cave, so he didn't bother with words and simply fought his way in. He knew Lingxu Cave was protected by a fixed barrier; outsiders could enter, but not leave once inside.

As long as he trapped the wolf tribe member within the cave, there would be no escape. Otherwise, with the wolf tribe's agility, Chu Han might not be able to catch him outside.

As Chu Han entered, dozens of people surrounded him. A white-haired elder stepped forward, his face grim as he glared at Chu Han. The wolf tribe member stood behind them.

"Who are you? Daring to seek trouble at Lingxu Cave? Lingxu Seven, kill him!"

The elder shouted. Seven men wielding long swords rushed forward, each at the Divine Bridge realm, surrounding Chu Han in seven positions, their eyes sharp and ready to strike.

Chu Han ignored them entirely, his gaze fixed on the wolf tribe member. "I am Chu Han. I believe you are familiar with this name. I have only one demand: hand over the wolf tribe member, and I will spare Lingxu Cave."

His words astounded everyone. Back in the Hongmeng Realm, Chu Han had slain many from Lingxu Cave. None had expected him to come seeking them on his own.
