At this moment, Chu Han wore a sly expression, picking up the dragon bone right under the noses of two experts at the Inscription Realm, utterly ignoring their murderous glares.

“Hm? You little trash from the Divine Bridge Realm, how dare you touch my things? Are you tired of living? I am an expert at the Inscription Realm—it would be child’s play for me to kill you. Hurry up and hand that over!”

Loki was furious. He had gone through great trouble to obtain the dragon bone, constantly hunted by Bailey. Now that he’d finally gotten his hands on it, this trash from the Divine Bridge Realm had snatched it first.

Bailey, too, shouted and cursed, but there was nothing he could do. Both he and Loki were gravely injured, their inner energy nearly depleted, unable even to stand. They could only watch helplessly as Chu Han took the dragon bone.

“Of course, it would be easy for you to kill me, but right now, you simply can’t. You’re both seriously wounded—stand up and show me if you can! Ha! I won’t linger—thanks for the dragon bone. Farewell.”

Chu Han laughed arrogantly before the two, not the least bit worried for his life in the moment. Having secured the dragon bone, he quickly slipped away. He had no idea how long it would take the two to recover; if he waited until they were back on their feet, his life would surely be forfeit.

Watching Chu Han flee in wild desperation, the two were beside themselves with rage, but powerless, forced to lie on the ground and recover their strength and inner energy.

“Bailey, let’s make peace. Once we’ve recovered, we’ll chase that fellow and take back the dragon bone. As for its ownership, we’ll settle that once it’s in our hands.”

Loki thought it over and decided to propose a truce. After all, if he pursued Chu Han alone and Bailey attacked him from behind, he wouldn’t be able to withstand it. They needed to unite against a common enemy—their goal was the same, the dragon bone.

Bailey naturally had no reason to refuse; his thinking was identical to Loki’s. After agreeing, they continued to restore their bodies.

Meanwhile, Chu Han was desperately fleeing, intent on leaving the Forbidden Zone of the Primordial World. If he could get out, those two would be powerless against him.

These two were clearly experts from within the Primordial World, forbidden to leave its boundaries. As long as Chu Han escaped, he would be completely safe.

But he had already spent a long time deep within the Forbidden Zone. Even the system’s loading indicator now showed twenty-five percent. Getting out would still take some time.

Half an hour later, he entered a dense fog. Just as he was about to get his bearings, he suddenly felt a chill at his back, startling him. He rolled forward, narrowly avoiding an attack from behind.

He turned hurriedly, seeing behind him a figure dressed in black nightwear, face concealed. Though her features were hidden, her build revealed she was a woman.

“Who are you? Why did you ambush me?”

Chu Han’s face darkened. He realized he couldn’t discern her strength at all, which was terrifying.

There were two possible reasons: either her strength far surpassed his, or she wore an item that concealed her abilities. Only these explanations could evade his senses.

Yet her attack, though difficult to dodge, hadn’t threatened his life, indicating her strength wasn’t much higher than his. Therefore, she must be using something to hide her true power.

“Heh, haven’t you heard the saying: ‘A man without guilt is blamed for carrying treasures’? You took the dragon bone and want to leave? You’ll have to get past me first.”

The woman laughed wildly, a slender dagger appearing in her hand, gleaming with silvery light, sharp as a razor. Her eyes radiated murderous intent.

Chu Han’s face grew darker. She had apparently been watching Bailey and Loki’s battle all along, tailing him after he took the dragon bone, intending to rob and kill him—a true case of the mantis stalking the cicada, unaware of the oriole behind.

“So confident you can kill me and take the dragon bone? Don’t let yourself die for nothing if you get injured.”

Knowing she was formidable, Chu Han dared not be careless. Blue lightning crackled around his body, sparking menacingly. He had consumed much of his inner energy dodging Bailey and Loki’s attacks.

He quietly gripped the dragon bone, absorbing its energy. Just a trace, and his inner energy was restored to its peak, revealing the terrifying power contained within a bone no thicker than his little finger.

Of course, his subtle movements went unnoticed. The woman could only see his inner energy rapidly recovering before her eyes, shocking her. She hurried forward, dagger raised.

As the saying goes, “The shorter the weapon, the greater the danger.” Daggers are the most troublesome—small, nimble, and quick, leaving little time to react.

Chu Han blocked her first attack, his fists swinging, aiming directly for her face. In this moment, he had no time for mercy; if he didn’t strike hard, he would be the one to fall.

But the woman was incredibly fast, dodging his attacks and appearing behind him again. Facing the dagger, Chu Han focused his lightning at a single point to block it. Their powers collided, exploding with a thunderous bang, sending both flying.

Only those who exchanged blows understood how perilous it had been. Had Chu Han not reacted swiftly, he would have been lying on the ground now. His opponent was indeed a ruthless character.

“Heh, your reflexes aren’t bad. Seems your strength isn’t just at the Divine Bridge Realm. You deserve to know my name—Duanmu Meng’er. Let your death at least be clear.”

With her words, she charged again, even faster than before. Chu Han was astonished, having no time to ponder her statement, hastily blocking her dagger.

The dagger stabbed into his arm. Duanmu Meng’er smiled, but the smile faded almost instantly—she realized her blade couldn’t penetrate his body.

It was like stabbing stone—unbelievably tough. Had she not seen it herself, she would never have believed it.

Chu Han grinned. After mastering the Infernal Golden Body, his physique had reached the intermediate stage—ordinary weapons were useless against him. Though Duanmu Meng’er’s dagger could slice iron like mud, it was no match for his flesh.

Chu Han launched a counterattack, lightning crackling around his fist as he struck Duanmu Meng’er.

Her reactions were swift—when her dagger failed to pierce him, she retreated, dodging his attack, yet was still struck by lightning.

The electric charge wracked her body; though it couldn’t injure her, it caused numbness and slowed her movements. Feeling her discomfort, Duanmu Meng’er’s expression grew grim.

Chu Han snorted coldly. “Thunder Strike!”

With those words, his body transformed into a bolt of lightning, shooting toward Duanmu Meng’er at incredible speed. By the time she reacted, he was already upon her.

Duanmu Meng’er bit her lip, her eyes flashing with rainbow colors, illuminating Chu Han’s body. Instantly, he was frozen in place, unable to move. Seizing the opportunity, she appeared behind him.

Chu Han was startled by her strange attack, unable to comprehend how he had been immobilized. No matter how he struggled, he couldn’t break free. With Duanmu Meng’er at his back, he had no chance to evade her next move.
