So hungry... so thirsty... so cold...
Why can’t Mom stand up anymore?
Mom said, if only there were a gigantic supermarket, with endless food and drink, and warm clothes that would never run out...
A little painted rabbit, thin as a skeleton, lay atop another rabbit even more emaciated, crying bitterly.
At that moment, the fairy appears!
Mom, wake up, the fairy has come to save us!
From within the black wall, a twisted, menacing face opened its blood-red eyes, baring its maw at the little rabbit.
Beneath that twisted visage, a sparkling dress shimmered, and a fairy wand floated in midair.
The fairy told the little girl she could grant her wish.
But the little girl would have to pay a price.
At last, the little girl’s wish came true!
So happy! I want to tell Mom. Can I tell Mom?
On the pale wall, only a rabbit covered in red chunks of flesh and tears was painted.
Then, more and more bloody masses appeared, spreading like a malignant virus, covering the wall entirely.
In the narrow gaps, Lin Bufei caught a glimpse of the rabbit’s eyes squeezed amid the chunks of flesh, crying tears of blood.
Where is the rabbit?
Lin Bufei halted, the massive bloody script beneath his feet bringing the tale to an abrupt stop. The shadowy corridor had reached its end.

“Faceless, come in. Washing the goods will take some time, just stand where you are.”
With that, the head chef dragged a man covered in red flesh and pushed open the door at the corridor’s end.
As the door swung open, a wave of heat rushed out.
The room at the corridor’s end was far more spacious than expected, divided like an assembly line into several sections.
From the outside in, they were labeled: “Washing,” “Cutting,” “Transport,” “No Admittance.”
Lin Bufei glanced at the head chef entering the washing room, heard the sound of running water, then gently tapped the box atop the cart and lifted the lid.
“Hey, handsome, you can come out now.”
After a brief silence, a hand emerged from the box, and a boy leisurely climbed out.
“Hm... this isn’t exactly an ideal place for a conversation.”
Qin Feng brushed foam scraps from his clothes, smiled as he stepped off the cart, and latched the bathroom door.

Though there’s an unrelated party here, I don’t think that’ll stop us from having a proper chat, will it?
With these words, Qin Feng grabbed a nearby metal stool, sat on it backward.
Lin Bufei removed his mask, forcing a sycophantic smile.
“Heh heh, handsome, what do you mean by that?”
“I don’t quite understand.”
A crumpled note was tossed toward Lin Bufei.
I know who you are.
“You wrote this, didn’t you?”
Qin Feng’s lips curled into a grin.
“That’s why you came looking for me, isn’t it?”
“Well, I’m all ears. Who do you think I am, Lin Bufei?”
Suddenly, Lin Bufei’s ingratiating smile vanished. He stared at Qin Feng and raised two fingers, mimicking a gun.
“Death Revolver!”
Boom—
A thunderous shot, and Lin Bufei’s fingers truly fired toward Qin Feng’s forehead.
As he shot, a golden revolver materialized in Lin Bufei’s hand, the barrel smoking darkly.
But as the smoke cleared, Qin Feng continued smiling calmly at him.
Lin Bufei, incredulous, fired again.
Boom—
But Qin Feng simply tilted his head, his right hand flashing upward like lightning. There was a crackling sound as he split the bullet in two, letting both halves fall to the floor.
?!
Surprise flickered across Lin Bufei’s face. Realization dawned: Qin Feng had stood unmoving, using his butterfly knife to slice the bullet in two. Lin Bufei’s expression shifted to self-deprecation.
“Heh heh, who’d have thought—pulling out my trump card, an S-class side item, right from the start, and it still does nothing.”
With that, Lin Bufei shed his shirt.
Unlike his usual submissive demeanor, Lin Bufei’s muscular body radiated power, covered in scars.
The most hideous and conspicuous was a gunshot wound on his abdomen.
“Lin Bufei, do you think you can’t beat me, so you’re surrendering by taking your clothes off?”

Qin Feng smiled, spinning the butterfly knife in his hand, its blade glinting like a pair of fluttering wings.
“Surrendering like this is a bad habit. I wonder why Mr. Ji considers you a friend~”
Lin Bufei said nothing. He picked up a steel pipe beside him, fixing Qin Feng with a grave stare, clearly preparing to fight to the death.
“So, who am I? Why do you want to kill me?”
Qin Feng raised an eyebrow, signaling Lin Bufei not to rush.
“Handsome, you believe in gods, don’t you?”
Lin Bufei’s face was wary, his voice turning hoarse.
“You believe there are gods in the world of horror, right?”
Qin Feng stood calmly, smiling, twirling his butterfly knife, urging Lin Bufei to continue.
“I’ve met a bunch of lunatics who believe the world of horror has a god. They say the reason players keep participating in side stories is that the god is searching for a successor.”
“These people call themselves the Abyss, and claim their deity is the supreme Abyssal God of the horror world.”
Qin Feng chuckled softly, as though amused.
He glanced at Lin Bufei, his expression utterly unruffled.
“And what does that have to do with me?”
“You’re one of the Abyss, Qin Feng,” Lin Bufei said gravely. “You’ve always stayed close to Ji Linmo—that’s the evidence.”
“Since the news of the Miracle Maker broke, the Abyss took shape.”
“These hysterical lunatics believe Ji Linmo, who cleared the horror world, is the Miracle Maker who once saw the god.”
“That’s why they’re obsessed with Ji Linmo, almost to a terrifying degree. They swear they’ll wait for Ji Linmo to return to the world of horror, capture him, investigate every contact he’s had with the god, and kill anyone who questions their theory.”
“The most frightening thing is, this bizarre group never dissolves when its original members die. Instead, it keeps expanding, becoming more and more formidable.”
Cold sweat trickled from Lin Bufei’s hand as he raised the steel pipe, staring at Qin Feng’s impassive face.
“Qin Feng, I’ve had dealings with these lunatics. You’re just like them.”
“As a high-level player, I once saw your posts on the player forum.”
“You said the Miracle Maker was by your side... Weren’t you signaling your fellow Abyss members?”
